OK...

We didn't have anymore 6 inch tubing around and using that is better than rolling a piece when it comes to a steering wheel that could mean someone's life.

So we're waiting till monday to play the steering wheel game.

Got the archbar and rear decklid all set up.

And we lowered the sucker!

So it was a good Saturday at work.

Happy Easter All!!!

Oh... The Easter Bunny asked me to stay on topic, so here's what I found in my Easter Basket this morning.

ONLY huh?

Check out the bottom of Bat Rods. hehehe I'm sure that there are a few others being offered here or there? Anybody else want to take a crack at this one?

But wait... there's more! My Easter basket was overflowing with "eggs"

Nope... that's gotta be true. Never seen one myself that wasn't one of MT's.

Act now and you'll get these other truly re"mark"able statements absolutely free!

"Offered"? Certainly... "Delivered"... not likely.

At least my "innacurate" ones were delivered to happy customers. And I can't list all the innacuracies in the Bob's Kilmer cars. Can any of you?

AND... if you act now... you'll get this final quote ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!

To be fair... Geek DOES have a friend on his MySpace who's got a scanner and 3-D modeler. These guys have tossed some 1/18 scale cars in the box and run out full size cars. Hell... the Ford GT these guys ran through were so accurate they still had the FORD emblems on them.

Gee... I hope no one has a Kilmer order in when FORD and the U.S. Marshalls shut that place down for knocking off high-end FORD's. I'm not sure, but I think FORD has some great lawyers.

I hope that this keeps this thread on topic...

THANK YOU FOR THE EMAIL EASTER BUNNY!!!!

(I won't tell ANYONE you sent it to me. I promise.)

BG, your build is coming together really fast.  Thanks for the updates.

I don't know what to say about the other items...  Really I'm a bit set back.  Hummm, now I have to go check out the site and see what else is there.

Oh my, maybe these MT comments should have been saved for April Fools daty. Has anyone really seen a running 89 MT build? Mine was suppose to run, but guess what, you guessed it, it was delivered without a fuel cell, battery, and a few other things needed to make it run. Based on some of the other build issues, it is best that it did not run, I would be going around and picking up parts off the road.

Yep...

Too funny!

"All the car museums?" That's priceless. I guess that's why the museums have started sending me MT emblems instead of "B" emblems to put on the cars we ship out.

No matter, those guys are YEARS away from discovering the clearance issues, crosswind problems and visibility concerns associated from ACTUALLY DRIVING a 95.

So my "innacurate ones" will have to do for now.

"Innacurate" is also a euphamism for "Anything with full wheelflares wouldn't fit in the trailer!"

So, here's to "Innacurate cars to HAPPY customers!"

(And to the cute models who like wearing Batsuits)

Speaking of which...

Look what the Easter Bunny brought me today!

She'll be in tomorrow's Batmobile update pics.

Happy Easter!

MT does not build museum quality anything. I would like to know who would sell MT a set of 95 molds. Regardless, I doubt he can do any better at a 95 build than he did with my 89.

Had my car came with an MT badge, it would have been removed 5 minutes after seeing it for the first time. There is not a single piece of the MT build that does not have to be redone, rebuilt, repaired or reengineered.

Oh and nice Easter Basket, all I got was a chocolate bunny

Nobody SOLD him the molds.

Go to Geeks Myspace.

There's an avatar on it of a Batmobile he didn't build or own. Search his friends, and you'll find a guy making NEW Ford GT replicas ILLEGALLY using a CAD/CAM scanner and 3D modeler. (Uses a precision cutter to cut foam to PERFECT dimensions)

All you do then is bondo it and pull a mold from it.

I've seen the gear used to make fantastic Corvette Summer replicas, it works great and you don't have to have any talent as a foam carver to make one.

That's where they're getting their molds from.

Makes sense. Good thing it doesn't take any talent MT may just get a mold out of it. So KG still has some friends. Oh sorry that was just mean, ha! ha!

WHAT TH'???
"A WOODSIDE"????  lol

I guess that's a form of distinction in replica history. I hope no one else has it happen to them.

As for the goodies in your Easter basket, what else would you expect from the dynamic-less duo?

You're making fast work of that '66 nicely BG. I've enjoyed seeing all the great machines cranked out of your place in photographic splendor.

Question: is Green Hornet nose pretty much all there is to the Green Hornet car or was the rear modified as well?

Again, thanks for the pics. That's what we live for.

Pontiac builds excitement. Woodside tears 'em apart.

Very interesting stuff.

I'd like to know more about what you are talking about, but i cant seem to find geeks myspace that you are reffering to.
