Sure thing.. I'm hoping to get some more done on the hood mounting points this week. The car will be making an appearance on Aug 26th... So I need to be able to mount the hood and "possibly" the nose cone. We'll see.

No not the Fan Expo... A local car club show
I've also been able to get a bunch more done on my hood mounts over the last couple days.. I'll try and get a blog post up tonight

Nice find on the the garbage can, did you go looking for it or was it like you stumbled across it and said this might work? I'm still thinking about the soup pot idea I think R2 Lou did...
Also
The mounts look really good was there any more thought about hinging the hood for quick access and still have the option of removing it?

I had been looking around for a while, and figured I would give Rona a try.. I was looking for steel buckets and then came across the garbage pail. It was an exact, and I mean exact, fit.
I'm not looking to hinge the hood at all.. just going with the mounts.
