'89 Instrumentation Details

I don't know much about the '89 car at all, but it seems like alot of the instrumentation is out of an aircraft.
I found this link last night surfing around that might offer some parts ideas for you guys for some of your interior choices:

Hope this helps someone.

Sorry, bought it, but still awaiting delivery.

Now if I can only find the other parts, I'll have a helicopter

Or, I might find another use for it

What else do you know about it? What is it from?

Reminds me of the 20/20 story years ago. an Apache helicopter in private hands, pieced together from bits bought at gov't auctions, complete down to the guidance systems. All the need is the missles.

This is the description I saw. Couldn't resist it....it looked too good.

"Stainless steel intake bullet believed to be from a Gem installation. Overall length is 17 inches. (Marker bar has 6'' graduations). Diameter of rear is approx 225 mm with fixing hole centres at 205 mm. The rear section has been painted blue overall and the actual cone has had a pattern painted on it."

Mr. A, great find. Next time start a new thread so info like this doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I measured the fiberglass version that comes with the kit. Nose cone only 12" by 8 1/2" so it looks like you may have hit the jackpot. Way to go!

You will have to compare measurements when you get it. You may have just earned yourself a spot in the '89 hall of fame. Well, we don't have one, but if there was you'd be right in there!

Just buying up small bits & pieces when I see them. Don't have anything major yet (such as body kit, donor car, seats, etc). But have bought a few small things (gas caps, headlight, bonnet latches, nose cone).

Thanks Jack , for your comment about the size of your 'nose', as I don't have a clue about sizes on the Kit. I just hope my stuff will fit (or I'll have to adapt what I've got). I'd like to start making the turbine and afterburner next (if I can come up with some measurements )

I'll post Pic's at some point soon.
