Just incase some of you have to have everything with the
word Batmobile on it, here ya go! Plus "A-Team" oo7, trek, they
are branching out. Guess the batmobiles have been "berry berry good, to Corgi." where is THIS one?

RE: Get out your wallets....
re-doing some of the bond stuff, cool! $6-7 a pop is what I've found them for at Wally-world, etc. There look to be 2 dosen in the Batman line alone. Plus the re-paint they put out! I'm glad they're still going strong, I heard ther were sold off a few times in the past decade. Nate, we all know as long as george is alive, we probably won't see a But wasn't the Corgi car from the 70s an exact replica of the 66?

RE: Get out your wallets....
Since they couldn't get a 1:18 66 because of licensing, how were they able to get the diecast 66 model kit out?

RE: Get out your wallets....
Tim, during the 70s when the 1/43 & 1/64 Corgis were made, I imagine all patents and contracts were still in effect. This was also before the turning point in toy branding known as Star Wars came out. So, I'd hazzard to guess, some legal mumbojumbo has changed.

Thanks, but I was actually talking about the Johnny lightning 1960s batmobile that came out a couple of years ago, which, upon closer inspection is not the 66. I just never paid that much attention.

RE: Get out your wallets....
Hey all...I was at Toys R Us last night, and found something...the Corgi 1990's ver 1 car was one of the first of this series I bought...it was electric blue in color with gold bats, not much other detail except the parking and taillights were painted. I later saw this car in a 5pk, colored yellow and black...but last night I found this car in a smokey grey color, with the bat face in black, still with gold bats...this is the only one I have found in this color...anyone know if they are going to do anymore like this? -Matt

I saw that car in the 5 pack in the grey. Now one has to buy both 5 packs?

RE: Get out your wallets....
I've been searching hi and low for another like this (grey)...I think this is a mispackaged car...the only other place I've seen it is in the Modern Age box set, which is pictured in the group shots in the opening post. If you saw this in one of the 5pks, ok, but have you, or anyone else seen another one in a single pack like this? -Matt
