I think it's funny they are bragging about the most "detailed" batmobile, and at the same time selling flashing lights to replace a 4 foot flame!
For some reason, this car has the same effect as that ring in lord of the rings, a few people exaggerate, others lie, and some get their whole manhood wrapped up in it, and are willing to threaten others with violence for "insulting" them by calling them on inaccuracys.   
I think the 66 board tried sending a nice note years ago. They also show a driveway shot of the #5 the MOST incorrect 66 bat replica of all of the Barris fakes, size of car, fins, windshields everything. Sounds like the light salesman is just writting copy.

RE: 66 LED flames My aferburner just has to be environmentaly friendly. Mine's is gonna be hooked up to a match and my A$$. Any time I take the car out, I just spend a little time beforehand, eating beans, chilli and a nice hot curry. When I've had enough "I'm just taking out the car, Honey". 
Environmentally sound.
(That means, I don't get a clout around the head, for farting towards my wife ). Isn't it funny that we men, always have to lift one cheek and aim it at someone?

RE: 66 LED flames I think the flame looks funny; I guess it's the red LED bulbs being too obvious when ON. It doesn't have that natural glowing effect. |

RE: 66 LED Batmobile That's my 2004 Bat with the LED's above...not the #5. Laugh all you want but the effect did the job...for a while. It may not be the most highly detailed replica but it certainly has the absolute BEST flawless black paint job ever applied to a 66 replica!!! On top of that the owner has since replaced the LED's wih a functional 4 foot flame...toned down from his first attempt which was 25 feet!

RE: 66 LED flames Then why do they post a shot of the #5 car in the owner's driveway? Sorry Don, but lights are lame. If you are afraid of sitting on explosives, don't buy a batmobile!  The rivitmobile had the big flame thrower in it I thought, it was the one thing I thought they did right! So the Nevada car had lights, then the big burner then
the little one? He needs to read old batmobile posts and some of my notes I posted, would have saved him a lot of money and time. The body of course is perfect.

RE: 66 LED flames Time and money really wasn't the issue Nate. A top quality flame was...so he went from the best in led's to the best pyro tech for his flame at less than a $1,000. I know...next question...where are the pics...lol I have no idea what the #5's up there for. |
