That's odd. Can you at least click on them to see the full size image?

I couldn't see them yesterday, but I can now. Anyway, it looks pretty cool without all the armour. definitely an awesome vehicle.

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
Maybe the images have to be in your cache in order to see them here...
The best thing about the Tumbler is that it really seems to have been well built. The worst thing about it, is it must be near impossible to see where the hell you're going...

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
I always thought the worst thing was the huge rubber tires out in front. If they were going for logical design, why would you put the main running gear (puncturable) out front of something. If they were going for realism or even semi-realism, when the Tumbler busted through the fence or the concrete divider the front tired would have been gone and Batman would have had to call robin to come get him.

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
I agree that there should probably be some sort of guard in front of them but maybe they are supposed to be comprised of some sort of hitech rubber coated kevlar compound... 20 times stronger than steel.

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
After you click on the photos on their page, they show up
on the link. Weird. Cache and all. The wheels on this high speed
attack vehicle aren't very protected and are out front.
This is the best design the military have come up with so far...

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
If the Tumbler was supposed to be a military jumping vehicle, you couldn't have anything out in front of the tires. The problem I have is that you've got great ground clearance in the rear but almost none in front. That mini-cockpit up front is also weird. Batman slid in and out of it for what?

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
I always thought that was dumb as well Dave. I think they just needed another trick to show how cool the vehicle was. It's kind of liek that concept car oic someone posted where the hole interior spins so your seat faces the door. Is it cool that it can be done? Yeah. Is there any big reason for it? no.
I thought the Tumbler looked cool as long as you comletely suspended reality when watching it on screen. I also thought the whole silent mode thing was ridiculous. Okay, I turned off the lights and no one car hear the engine - so they can't see me right? Righht? hehe.

Watch for:
Near the end of the scene, when Bruce and Fox are in the tumbler Fox says "We never could get the damn bridge to work, but this baby works just fine" then Bruce turns the wheel to the left but the tumbler turns right.

RE: Tumbler DVD Screenshots
Yup, a helicopter with a spot light loses a big black tank-thing when it's lights go off. Man, I wish I knew that back in LA when I was getting tickets left and right. Turn off headlights= disappear...awesome! If he had radar in that thing, why not just leave the lights off anyway???
