Begins Tumbler Automatic or Manual?
Was it automatic or manual?
I know in the movie, he asks someone if he/she knows how to drive stick but the test drive sequence w/ Morgan Freeman didn't seemed to suggest it was automatic. I couldn't find any in-dash cockpit photos anywhere.

RE: Begins Tumbler Automatic or Manual?

RE: Begins Tumbler Automatic or Manual?
The stunt car(s) were automatic. The movie car suggests that it's manual with the "can you drive a stick" comment but I don't recall seeing him shifting gears. Humvees are all automatic because the military wanted them to be easy to drive. Of course that doesn't mean the Tumbler is.

If you check out the pictures on Justins page you can see inside the car and yeah its automatic. Trust me I thought about this alot when building my car. Honestly I don't want to have to shift if I'm gonna be hitting jumps. Don't really plan on racing the car either.
