RE: about batgod
Hi Timb! Hi Guys!!!
I'm back from my weekend. Had a lot of fun. Nothing Bat related though. Just some TG stuff.
Yes Timb, the 89, the 66, the 95, the 97, the shield, the TV Batcycle and the duck. The Batwing is all aluminum on an actual BD-5 James Bond Octopussy Bedejet that used to be on display at Star Cars, Daytona Beach before they closed down. No molds for that, but I do have the blueprints and build specs.
Where did I get them...
Not really something that I want to put in print, but you could put all of my past posts together and figure that one out.
Here's a basic progression.
Jay has me and his kid store a set of original bat molds at his home in Moline, Illinois. There is a fibreglass supply store about 4 blocks away called Tempo Marine.
I have glassing knowledge and I had a lot of time on my hands.
You do the math...
"If you have a mold, you have a part... If you have a part, you have a mold!"
And you're right... I no longer sell cars of any kind. But the people who are now in possession of the molds do. And they'll most likely make me whatever I need run out.
Problem is... "I" have to deal with the potential buyers, not them. They want what they want for the build and I want what I used to get for the job if I was doing it myself.
Makes the car(s) VERY expensive these days because I DON'T really want to get involved. (About TWICE as expensive actually)I'd have to sweat transport and delivery and dealing with the "is my car done yet?!!!" emails 4 or 5 times a day. Right now I'm doing my TV show gig and not getting dusty.
AND... I've answered so many questions in the last twenty years for people who ended up NOT buying cars, or WORSE, buying cars from others at a lesser price, that I don't feel like answering any more tech questions without getting something for it.
So my price is simple.
A thousand dollars for wasting my time asking all the tech questions you want.
mail@codeoneauto.com is my PayPal account. Once I have the cash, I get very chatty. hehehehe
Not such a big deal really. If it's not something someone wishes to spend... they don't have to ask me any questions and we're all happy either way.
Hope that covers it Timb.
Have fun, good luck with your project.

RE: about batgod
Hey Guys,
Again... What types of pics do you want me to scan? Let me know and I'll load them up.
Don DID just ask me about this pic. Here you go Don.
Oh, and Don... Yep... those numbers work for me. Enjoy the pic.
As for the Batwing, someone posted a pic of the fuselage the day I brought it home. It's somewhere on this board. You guys should know me by now, NOTHING gets posted until I have the final publicity pic with the chick on top. I don't like giving away info and helping anyone get ahead of me on their build. Takes all the fun out of making something new.
But OK... some BAT pics (To be honest... the above pic is sort of a Bat pic, the owner of that tattoo will most likely be the girl in the Batwing publicity pic. I don't know what kind of a Bat related costume to put her in though.
Used Alicia Batgirl for the #1 95
Halle Berry Catwoman for the #2
Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman for the 89 (Don't ask for this... still tweaking the photo. DH and Justin will be the first to get it when it's ready. I'm sure they'll post it.)
Yvonne Craig Batgirl for the 66
And a "Batbikini" I found in a costume shop for the Batcycle.
Anybody got any ideas of female Bat icons for the Batwing, the Black and Blue Eclipse, the Tumbler?
Harley Quinn?
Huntress?
Poison Ivy? (Not a big fan of that costume I gotta tell ya
Haven't thought about it yet, but I have a little time.
Bat pics.
As promised... Here's the pic of the original Bat canopy mold. This is the one from the blue set of molds which WB got. They got the red canopy too. The Blue canopy mold was in much better shape back in the day, so were the red molds.
And here is a pic of the 89 Buick the day it was delivered to Butts with the missile, the Miami Vice Scarab and the other Jay toys.
Sorry about the Chrysler being in the way. I was kinda diggin' on that car back then. Was my first California convertible and definately the way to make the drive down to the desert to see Bob. I have others without the car in the way, but this one is great for scale.
I'm leafing through a bunch of pics I pulled out of the box that I'd like to scan. Delivery of the Batsignal to a collector in Illinois, The original black molds, the original red molds, Bob jammin' on a half dozen 66's (3 at a time)I have some set pics from Pinewood when they trashed the Gotham City Cathedral and main street sets. They're pretty cool. Tried to get them to let me walk off with some of the stuff, but they wouldn't hear of it. Watched it get bulldozed. That was a damn shame.
I did walk off with one of the badges for the Axis Chemicals gate though. Which is why you find copies of them all over eBay these days. I used to loan out a bunch of stuff for guys to copy and they'd give me back mine (Usually un-harmed... but my Speargun is another story and the reason I stopped) and 3 or 4 replicas for trade, sale or to give to my friends. That was pretty cool, I wanted to take one of the Gotham Public Works fibreglass manhole covers, but it wouldn't fit in my backpack, but I photographed it in the scrap pile.
So again, I ask, What do you want to see?
Gotta go, have a ton of other posts to read here that you guys posted over the weekend.

I like the "work in progress" pictures. Like you said, we all know what the finished cars look like. Personally I am fascinated with all forms of fabrication. I love to read and view build logs. Not just for cars, but boats, airplanes, ducks, anything. Here's one I was just reading -Click Here-
I really appreciate you sharing all this stuff with us, Paul.
