Petersen Museum photos
Went to petersen museum and took few shots.
It's impossible to get any good shots b/c the vehicle is put in corner and cordoned off with two other cars. So it was impossible to take any pics from left side and back side.
Luckily my friend snuck in behind and took few turbine shots.
Enjoy.

Fourth from last and second from last pictures tagline: The King is Dead, Long live the King. Mr. Barris.... the West Car just doesn't measure up anymore.
Sadly the first few pictures are too dark, and lastly shame on Petersen's... was that DUST on the car..... tut, tut!!!!!! AND GET THAT CAR OUT OF A CORNER!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Petersen Museum photos
Sorry but it is a Jay Ohrburg car, not a screen used car.
Notice the up side down turbine section.

Kevin, didn't we establish in another thread a while back that that's the way the turbine was oriented in the movies? I seem to remember someone posting screenshots to prove it, cause I said the same thing back then.

RE: Petersen Museum photos
Yikes.
Someone should tell Petersen he overpaid.
Robert E. Petersen, founding publisher of Hot Rod magazine, outbid others in a much anticipated bidding battle for the 1992 Batmobile used to promote the movie "Batman Returns," starring Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito. The Batmobile was sold to Petersen for $175,500 and will be featured as a permanent exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
