GC update
Not much to update, but I discoverd that I love drywall sanding screens. They really make quick work of the rough sanding and they don't get clogged up. Plenty of sanding ahead too.

RE: GC update
Thanks Dee.
I should have pointed out that I haven't done any sanding on the rear. The fins look pretty rough right now because I just have the drywall mud slathered on over the foam like cake frosting...

RE: GC update
After I finish sculpting it with the drywall mud, I will coat it with a high build sandable primer. I will probably use a cheap automotive spray can type while I'm workinig on it to seal up the mud from time to time but will eventually coat it with Duratec gray surfacing primer. It's a polyester primer that has to be catalyzed but can be sanded to a very nice finish.
Are you talking about Plasti-Dip spray? I just used that on the back of my disc mold...

RE: GC update
How much would you sell the GC for after you're done and your child outgrows it?

RE: GC update
Don't hate. Besides, at the rate I am going on my PMB planning, '89 and '66 goals, Bat Cycle conversion, etc... I will have had my license taken away by the state FAR before I finish anything! lol. They don't let really old people drive Batmobiles... But don't worry Jack! You can let me borrow yours and I'LL drive it FOR you.

RE: GC update
no, not plastic dip sprary, i was looking for a link but cant find it, im half asleep, but this stuff i beleive is close http://www.smooth-on.com/ezjunior.htm , it would basciyl add a plastic shell to the foam, "EZ~Spray™ Urethane Plastic - For spraying over cured rubber molds to make fast support shells / mother molds. Plastic can also be sprayed into rubber molds to make fast, lightweight castings." but then agian most of ur foam was not like mine so u prob dident ahve the probs i had. lolbut as i siad its looking good.
