Introduce yourself
This is for noobs who want to increae post counts.
Instead of bringing up old threads by putting one liner comments, please post on this thread and introduce yourself or why you love '89 car.
You old timers can still post here too.
Maybe there's something in it for someone who reaches 1000th posts first

RE: Introduce yourself
Tumbler fan here.
I can't believe that the biggest tumbler forum I found on the web is actually a Keaton mobile website.
Oh boy, this would surely cause a flame war among fans. :)

RE: Introduce yourself
I re-watched the first Batman movie just to see why the Keaton mobile is considered to be the God of the batmobiles. I was too young back then to actually remember stuff.
After watching the movie:
1. Despite it's dark theme, the movie is still cheesy for present day audiences.
2. I have to admit that its music still better than Hans Zimmer's music for Batman Begins. And I'm a Hans Zimmer fan.
3. Keaton's costume is better, only that the yellow parts there (e.g., the batman emblem) don't macth the costume.
4. The KEATON mobile looks good.
5. The car chase is kinda silly. I mean, the car aint that much maneuverable (it still needed a grappling hook attached to a post to make a sharp turn), and it still created that much damage. What the....
6. I thought the car stunts there would bore me to death until the batmobile showed up its machine guns, fired at the entrance door and accurately created a rectangular shaped opening. That's one ridiculously overpowered Keaton mobile right there.
7. When I was a kid, I thought the shield mode was structurally justified. I've only realized now that it's all CGI.
I'm going to watch Batman Returns later. :)

if you see it carefuly, the machine gun only made accurate horizontal bullet holes. Thus the bottom portion collapses due to gravity.

RE: Introduce yourself
Veered off course within 5 posts. We rock. :)
PS - The yellow emblem (comic book wise anyways) is meant to attract attention and give bad guys a good target to fire at. It is the only part of the comic book costume that is armored.
