R/C WITH JET ENGINE I AM GIVIING MY 1/6 SCALE TUMBLER A COMPLETE OVERHAUL.I am going to gut it out and put an r/c jet engine in it. I am going to give it the same steering as the real size.How do I post pictures? |

RE: R/C WITH JET ENGINE I started a couple of months ago doing the same thing but realized building one from scratch would actually be easier. The proportions are wacked and some major dicing needs to happen just to make the body LOOK correct. I like the jet engine idea especially if you could switch it off/on during a run. Let's see pics!! |

RE: R/C WITH JET ENGINE I finally broke down and got that damn thing last night. I ran it all over my dorm, banging people's doors with it. Not one person was pissed once they saw it. Definitely wasn't expecting to become "the man" with that stunt, but whatever. Anyway, gutting it and overhauling the engine and whatnot was the first thing I started thinking about, and I ultimately decided that building it from scratch would be the way to go. If I do it, though, I might just go for a 1/4 or even a 1/3 scale version. Badass.

RE: R/C WITH JET ENGINE This is supposed to be the first mock up of the car ... but its mostlyrc parts and i read the cover for the jet is the nose cone off a p-38 model air plane.
