Vote time
Well guys I sold my Ferrari Replica yesterday and I'm now carless which can mean only one thing. Time to get the finger out and start on the new one. But which one I ask myself. So I'm putting it out there for an open vote. 66 or 89 first. Which is to grace my garage.????

RE: Vote time
From what I understand the 66 would be much quicker and easier to build, but I would rather you start on your 89. So I guess my vote is for the 89. Either way please please please document every little step.
Have you decided where you are going to get your body?

RE: Vote time
'89 for sure if those are the choices...
The '66 is great and is one of my childhood dream cars, but no one looks right in that car except Adam West. (Maybe Chip Foose too, who knows?)

RE: Vote time
Unfortunatly I've only about 25k set aside to play with at the mo so it will have to be one or the other and I'd rather start one and finish in to perfection rather than feck around with two and only half do them both just to get them finished. Then I thought about buying the 66 and building the 89 but I feel that might be cheating. I need help AAAHHHHH

Really the most important vote belongs to you. What would you think you would get the most enjoyment out of?

RE: Vote time
JESUS DON'T BAN ME. I haven't decided where the body is coming from yet Jack cos it's only now I have the cash to actually think about it. It's winter now and this is the quiet time in my business so it will give me a lot of time to research where things are coming from and how I'm going to get the body and stuff to Ireland. If I can get all the stuff, or most of it, into the one container that will also help. Every step of the way will be documented start to finish with photos and a video diary.

RE: Vote time
66 is easy? um.... no.
Jeeze, you guys have PARTS lists!!
If you just want a 66 with just two chairs and a steering wheel inside, oh wait, the original steering wheel has an instrument cluster in the center, and the chairs are one of a kind customs...
BUT the 66 is easier to DRIVE perhaps... make street legal, to see out the back, it's easier to own with out the WB...easier to get a girl into the passenger seat (cause she's never driving)
hey, maybe it is easier!
Now the car cover is something else...
Quick Alfred, activate "toss the car all over the street" switch! I KEEED I KEED! all hail anyone who gets one on the road club
Chip Foose, I am your doppleganger

RE: Vote time
Ok. Body work, electrics, modification I can handle, even fabrication but I've never tampered with lengthening a chassis. If I was looking to get a driving 66 rolling chassis (Chassis already altered and body on)but thats all is there anyone here that could help me out??? I'm not looking for the easy way out, it's just no-one in Ireland does that sort of thing and i'd rather it professionally done than kill someone.
