RE: '89 Batmobile side mechanics If only Dave had taken one more picture from a little more to the left. The Holy Grail of Batmobile fans everywhere could be ours....  Still without Dave we would have never seen that awesome picture or any of the others.
Oh Dave did send a few new pictures. Here is one of them.

I could sculpt some of those parts, some could be made from bent tubing. bob and I could make that foundry casted part look just like that. Let us know if you guys are interested. Would hate to see anyone settle for some hokey plastic looking stuff. This is one of the most important parts of the car, I think. |

RE: '89 Batmobile side mechanics Probably closer to 6 sets to start with. Like you said some of the parts could be gotten like the V-Band Clamps and the hardware. My original idea was to have someone mill the tubular shapes on a lathe. Didn't get very far though. I was trying to figure out a way of making some pieces fit both the left and the right. Again, didn't get very far.
