Kevin's friend. He has several movie replica cars and has most of them on Ebay at one time or another.

RE: ebay batmoblie
You hit it on the head Maul. He supposedly was feeling the heat and removed the car under pressure. Kevin knows the guy pretty well, as Jack pointed out. This is the only Bat I know that was built initially on a Vette.

Yes Kory, most people already know that. But out of respect for other owners, most of us try to be a little discreet with who's names we arbitrarily throw around. Kinda a respect thing. I don't believe Mr. S**** likes his name mentioned in the same sentence as Batmobiles.

RE: ebay batmoblie
PS - Now that I think about it, this very same car appeared on a kit maker website (lambo kits if I remember correctly) shortly after the completion of the auction. Apparently the guy was interested in buying the body, and convinced the builder to allow him to look and take pics. A ridiculously low (and I am sure insulting) offer was made, and the builder sent the kit maker on his way. A week later, I found this website claiming to be offering '89 Batmobiles for sale. I wish I could find the link still - Kevin? Kory? Anybody save it?

The only reference I found was this blurb on the LAMBO LOUNGE site:
"Exotic Replicas USA - (not working 7/20/05) Lucky Lopez is a Builder and a Manufacturer of Lamborghini's Ferrari and Porsche's Replicas."

RE: ebay batmoblie
Justin you are right on, the builder was trying to purchase my friend’s car. He didn’t want to pay his price, which was very fair for a running derivable 89. He took a lot of pictures of his car and posted them on his web site and claimed that it was his car and would build one for anyone who wanted an 89. I told my friend about it and he called the builder and asked him what he was doing. He told him that once he had enough buyers he would then purchase his car and mold it. My friend very politely told him to F off.
