Here's a whole page of pics of the Hotwheels car. Some funny. Some not.

Now that is how I should have sold those, a bit of an added value. Now see if you can cram him into the Hot Wheels Tumbler.

RE: more 1:18 pics
The first problem is unlike the 89, the Tumbler interior doesn't fit the exterior. Next, the way the top opens up could only work on the partial interior set piece, not the whole car. If you try putting all of this together (which I advised Hot Wheels against) you get a goofy looking, working model. Plus they prototyped this thing so far ahead of the film, the reference sucked and things came out funny (i.e. size of front tires).
Ugh!

Yes, I would much rather have an accurate looking tumbler with a non-opening canopy. Actually, saying that the canopy opens is being very generous. The most obvious problem are the wheels, as you mentioned. I'm sure people worked very hard with what they had, but it's just not up to par. Hell, I only bought two of them!

You guys dont like the hw 1:18 tumbler ?
Why not ? I used to run diecast shop (online) and When I placed orders for them they never came. The demand for them was nuts. Atleast in bulk. I want to pick the black on up but whats so bad about it ?

RE: more 1:18 pics
Just too many inacuracies. The front tires are ridiculously way too large which that alone ruins the whole thing.
