66 Bluprints Just a stab in the dark but does anyone know where I can get blueprints for the 66 Batmobile like the ones DH has for the 89???

RE: 66 Bluprints I'm not turning all 66 or anything, It's just i printed out the schematics from this site on photographic paper and have the 5 of them mounted in a 27 x 40 frame with a signed Keaton 8 x 10 in the centre and it makes an awesome poster. I wanted to c if i could do the same with the 66 and the tumbler but cant get schematics for either.

RE: 66 Bluprints There aren't any actual blue prints, as it was tossed together in 3 weeks by Barris and his crew. I have a few style drawings of the Futura, and there is the patent art which might be your best bet for your poster idea.

RE: 66 Bluprints GROSS! That's that 60's batthing from the comics! Brrrrr. (shudders). This comic book car design was all but forgotten, until the WB figured out there was $$$$$ in the 66 version they didn't own the rights to, so sold this design to Corgi. The funny thing is that this design was created because Barris and the TV show got bent when the comics started making the batmobile look like the TV show car, so the comics changed it enough to make it a new design. Now we want toy versions of the TV car and we get that thing. It's like someone who looks like someone famous, until you get close... then yikes! :) It was the Danbury mint debacle with Andy P.s car that showed the WB/DC that we were willing to pay big bucks that started all of the new Corgi line of batmobile collectibles, based on Comic book designs that the WB owned 100%. Sigh, you guys have your 1:18 scale toys.... we're still waiting....
