how the hell do u attach drywall to cinderblocks?
or do u 'mud' the whole house?

They mud the whole house and then add the straw roof. Don't you know anything about Ireland?

Actually, I'd imagine they attach furring strips first, but I'd like to see too. You don't see too many cinderblock houses here, Dee. I assume they are stronger than wood frame construcion, no.

To continue withthe derailment of the thread, The front of the house is to be finished in cut-stone. I opted for the non-traditional straw roof and mud but instead went for the Slate roof. the side walls at the sides and rear are 'dashed' with small stone chippings. This leaves the house maintanance free. (never has to be painted). And yes, the house is strong. Very strong. On the Future Batcave thread you can clearly see men walking on the top of it demonstraiting just how strong it is
