Hey Batgod! Austin and I had an excellent day...thank you so much for having us! Thanks for the tour of the shop and for all the Lincoln stuff I only wish I could've fit more in the van. It was loads of fun watching you guys desecrate that poor defenseless Continental, but it's all good. It's new Batmobile body is going to look great! I'll definitely be planning a trip back late Spring, early Summer. Until next time...

Yep,

AND... with a 60 day start to finish turnaround. Hehehe.

Don says that this is HALF of his best time.

(That's because Don doesn't come to work every day and get to see cute girls)

If he did... he'd be working longer hours like me.

Oh... and I've just teamed up with Jim at Bat Rodz in NY (The guy selling kits on eBay) as we are neighbors (He's a "Jerzy Boy" too) and we're gonna start making some cool stuff together in the Bat world. I'm gonna be up at his place next week checking out his new 66 kit and some of his other cool projects.

He's got his eye on the 89, the Batbike and the Tumbler now, so you may be seeing some other cool stuff on his website soon. A great guy with some really great skills. Would be very interesting to see what he can do with an 89 body.

Bat Rodz is gonna be making the molded canopies for the 4 66's I've got on order, so I'm gonna be helping him out with all his metal and stuff for his turnkeys.

These are VERY exciting bat-times dudes!

Jack... tell my "long lost buddy" I said "Hi". He called my client today offering up a "secret project" and he called from a Texas number. Hope you guys are having fun. Send me some pics of the SPM car now that you've got new parts.

Did you get my Knight 4000 Steering wheel?

Let me know,

All the best,

OH... HAWK!!! You can drop in on Bat Rodz... He's pretty near you and the three of us DON'T have a mutual friend (If you know what I mean)

Call me.

That is an amazing deal, P! Good stuff. Hey, I will be in Jersey at the end of March on business. I will let you know if I am in your area! Not sure where I am flying into or where I will be for the 4 days I am there......

Absolutely.

I'm borrowing back the Yvonne Craig Batgirl suit I sold to JB to do a photo shoot at the end of next month.

I'll post those pics here as well.

Tonight, we did the metal work on the trunk and hinged it, plus we made all the supports for the dash and the door hinges.

All the best,

Impressive.
Will it have a functional dash as well?

I don't have a batmobile, but I have a remote R2-D2

Thanks guys,

Here are tonight's pics.

The radiator is all done and mounted up. All of the supports for the front end are attached to the 1 inch box tube glassed into the body.

(I walked from the steering column to the front headlight, then JUMPED to the other headlight and walked back to the dash tonight to check the welds. hehehe)

Tomorrow we hinge the hood and put the fender wells in. I'll take a pic of me doing a Russian split across the headlights wearing the Kevin Smith Bluntman "bat hat" I got last week. (Think; stocking cap with bat ears)

Sorry, I can't get Jett to want to do a Russian split on the hood. We'll have to save that for Candi during the photo shoot.

And YES... it will have a functional dash, working Detect-a-scope, chain cutter, flame exhaust, the whole nine. The client is talking me into hooking him up with rocket tubes that launch missiles. (Model rocketry rockets that can be fired from the center console controls... but still cool)

I'm already on the second body... I'll have pics of that next week for you guys.

Enjoy,

Oh... and dude... I have 66's, 89's, 95's, Batcycles and Tumblers... AND a lifesize Darth Vader, Princess Amidala, Yoda, Salacious B. Crumb (That I CARRIED home on the plane from Elstree), Wicket, Jango and Boba and 5 different Troopers in my office, but I DON'T have an R2!!!

Let's talk shop!
